SHAH ABDUL LATIF BHITAI (PARAGRAPH,CLASS 9)

The great saint and poet Shah Abdul Latif was born in 1102, Hijra in a small village called “Hala Haveli.” His father’s name was Shah Habib. He was the scholar of Arabic and Persian. At the age of twenty, he married a good lady. After the death of his father he left his home and went to live on a mound (Bhit) at some distance from his village. Latif was a very loving person. He spent his most time in devotion and prayer. He had a large number of followers. They loved him very much and they lovingly called him “Lal Latif”. Near by the mound is a lake. Bed Bed is mounted on the legs of the lathe which are bolted to the floor. It forms the base of the machine. It is made of cast iron and its top surface is machined accurately and precisely. Headstock of the lathe is located at the extreme left of the bed and the tailstock at the right extreme. Carriage is positioned in between the headstock and tailstock and slides on the bed guideways. The top of the bed has flat or ‘V’ shaped guideways. The tailstock and the carriage slides on these guideways. Inverted ‘V’ shaped guideways are useful in better guide and accurate alignment of saddle and tailstock. The metal burrs resulting from turning operation automatically fall through. Functions of Test Scores and Progress Reports.

The task of grading and reporting students’ progress cannot be separated from the procedures adopted in assessing students’ learning. If instructional objectives are well defined in terms of behavioural or performance terms and relevant tests and other assessment procedures are properly used, grading and reporting become a matter of summarizing the results and presenting them in understandable form. Reporting students’ progress is difficult especially when data is represented in single letter-grade system or numerical value (Linn & Gronlund, 2000). Assigning grades and making referrals are decisions that require information about individual students. In contrast, curricular and instructional decisions require information about groups of students, quite often about entire classrooms or schools (Linn & Gronlund, 2000).
